Moda is looking for an Asset Manager who will be responsible for strategy and performance across a portfolio of large scale residential BTR assets in the UK.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As Asset Manager, you will be responsible for preparation of annual business plans aligned to Moda’s financial and operational objectives.
  • Monitor performance against business plan and support the central operations team and on-site managers.
  • Set annual operational revenue and expenditure budgets, mobilisation budgets for new community launches, leasing strategies and work with finance teams to track P&L performance.
  • Engage with delivery partners, key suppliers and stay up to date with prop tech developments to identify areas to enhance service delivery and resident experience.
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly leasing performance reporting
  • Preparing leasing strategies for new and launching assets, including leasing velocity projections
  • P&L performance analysis. Forecasts and performance of both single assets and multiple asset platform reporting.
  • Reporting risk and opportunity
  • Resident retention, engagement and void performance analysis
  • Undertaking competitor research and analysis to support income target setting and identify key risks and opportunities in each location.
  • Preparing market reports and assisting in preparing investor reports and analysis
  • Regular investor meetings, reporting on performance and granular analysis of key leasing data .
  • Overseeing the mobilisation of new developments, (supported by a dedicated team) and reporting progress to stakeholders
  • Fostering relationships with Moda brand partners, advisors, and consultants.
  • Preparation of other documentation and reports to inform Development and Operations teams including demographic analysis, leasing and financial performance against targets in excel and powerpoint in a format that is easy to interpret and informs future strategy

MUST HAVES

  • Degree Level education, preferable but not essentially in Real Estate, Economics, or similar.
  • Experience in working in a complementary role that may have had asset management focus or be aligned to the objectives of the role.
  • An agile thinker, challenge what has gone before, propose new ideas and opportunities to drive performance
  • A good communicator, articulate, approachable, and able to engage at all levels. An approach that is friendly and tenacious, conducting business professionally and with integrity.
  • Effective and efficient time management and organisational skills.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook essential).
  • Driving license essential.
  • Good initiative, positive, adaptable, dependable, self-motivated, keen to learn, good sense of humour, confident, and enthusiastic.
