Moda joint venture with Aviva Capital kicks off with Stone Yard
Huge news at Moda HQ this week!
We’ve entered into a joint venture with Aviva Capital, kicking off with a new £400m deal for almost 1,000 new homes in Birmingham! The new homes at Stone Yard in the Digbeth area of the city will feature our trademark high-quality resident amenities, as well as green spaces, including roof terraces and some lovely landscaped public realm.
If you haven’t heard of Digbeth, it’s essentially the cool, artsy bit of Brum. The 3.9-acre brownfield site is only a short walk from Birmingham New Street train station and the BBC is due to make Digbeth its new Midlands base at The Tea Factory, making Stone Yard THE place to be!
Moda will deliver the homes as part of our 'Moda Neighbourhoods’ masterplan strategy, targeting major brownfield regeneration, delivering thousands of much needed new homes across the UK with market leading ESG performance, energy efficient smart homes, best-in-class customer experience encouraging sustainable behaviour and allowing people to live better.
This is Aviva’s first foray into the BTR sector, and we’re working with them to look at further opportunities to deliver amazing, sustainable neighbourhoods on regeneration sites across the UK. Stone Yard will also complement Moda’s growing pipeline in Birmingham and will be our first scheme in the Digbeth regeneration area. Major partnerships like the one with Aviva are essential for us to create new, healthy, sustainable communities, so we’re really excited to see it take shape in the coming months and years.
