Moda picks up nine prizes at the 2025 HomeViews Resident Choice Awards

Moda picked up nine prizes at the 2025 HomeViews Resident Choice Awards in an unprecedented industry performance.
The annual awards celebrate the best of BTR communities and teams across the UK, with the winners determined by data from resident reviews on HomeViews throughout 2024.
Collecting the awards in front of 400 industry peers, Moda won:
- Large BTR Operator of the Year
- Resident Team of the Year – Moda, The McEwan
- Resident Team Member of the Year – James Przylipiak, Moda, Angel Gardens
- First place - Best Large BTR Community – Moda, The McEwan
- Second place – Best Large BTR Community – Moda, New York Square
- Third place – Best Large BTR Community – Moda, Angel Gardens
- Top Rated Rental Community, Midlands – Moda, The Mercian
- Top Rated Rental Community, North East – Moda, New York Square
- Top Rated Rental Community, Scotland – Moda, The McEwan
Commenting on the wins, Moda’s Managing Director of Operations Richard Smith said: “This is an incredible achievement for Moda, one that is testament to the relentless hard work from across the business to deliver exceptional living experiences to our residents.

The awards took place at Vox in Birmingham on 13 February. The ceremony was preceded by a series of panels and networking opportunities, bringing together people from across the BTR sector.
The event also included an inspirational speech from professional rugby player Ed Jackson, who overcame quadriplegia following a injury to summiting mountains for charity.
One panel examined the role of technology in BTR operations, with the line up including Richard Smith. Highlighting Moda’s commitment to embracing evolving technologies, he added that having the right teams in place to implement and maximise the impact of these advancements was essential.
