Moda named BTR Developer of the Year

Celebrating the hard work of Moda’s team across the UK in 2024, the award recognised the launch of three new BTR neighbourhoods, planning successes, and the £1.5bn of developments the business currently has under construction.
In 2024, Moda launched three new BTR neighbourhoods—Moda, Holland Park in Glasgow, Moda, Hove Central on the South Coast, and Moda, Loudon’s Yard in Birmingham—bringing nearly 1,500 high-quality new rental homes to market.
The Group also expanded its national footprint, achieving major planning milestones in Glasgow and Manchester, and progressing construction across key sites including its debut London neighbourhood in Nine Elms – Embassy Boulevard – and its largest development to date at the 722-home community at Great Charles Street in Birmingham.
The work was underpinned by Moda’s bespoke ESG strategy, Next Generation Futures, which sets industry-leading standards in health, wellbeing and sustainability.
Announcing the award at a ceremony in London, Property Week said:
“Congratulations to Moda for an outstanding achievement that reflects their leadership, innovation and commitment to social impact in the BTR sector.
“Our judges were impressed by their holistic approach to ESG, community investment and delivery of large-scale developments under a single operator brand, setting a new benchmark in the industry. With initiatives like their training academy and expansion into single-family housing, Moda continues to lead the way in redefining modern living.”
One of the standout moments came from Chloe Docker, who shared her story and delivered a powerful message highlighting the important work of Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Congratulations to all of the 2025 RESI Awards finalists and winners that were recognised for the ongoing work to deliver amazing homes and living experiences for people across the UK.
